Centering Prayer Retreat in Denton
July 20-23, 2008

Fr. Tim Thompson will be offering a Centering Prayer retreat July 20-23, 2008, at St. Mark Parish, 2800 Pennsylvania Dr., Denton, Tx 76205. The retreat will begin with the Sunday evening Mass (5 p.m.) and go until Wednesday at 11 a.m. The retreat will take place on the parish grounds and retreatants will either return to their homes at night or stay in a local hotel. Some accommodations are available with retreatants who live in the Denton area on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost of the retreat is $50 (hotel at own expense).

Many will remember Fr. Thompson from St. John the Apostle in North Richland Hills, or from past Centering Prayer retreats at Montserrat.

This will be a good chance to go apart for awhile, to enter into silence and deepen your relationship with the divine through the contemplative practice of Centering Prayer.
