The annual advanced Centering Prayer retreat sponsored
by Contemplative Outreach of Fort Worth scheduled for Dec. 6-9 at Camp Copass
in Denton, Texas, has been postponed until Spring 2008. The date, time and
place of the retreat will be announced after the first of the year. We apologize
to those who were looking forward to the Advent
retreat.
The annual "Advanced" Centering Prayer retreat sponsored by Contemplative
Outreach of Fort Worth will be held this Advent at Camp Copass, Denton, Texas.
It will be held from the evening of Thursday, December 6th through Sunday,
December 9th. Retreatants may start registration at 4:00 p.m. Dinner is at
6:00 p.m. Silence for the retreat begins at 8:00 p.m.
Silence is required beginning at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Our schedule
will include extended centering prayer sessions, and presentations designed
to deepen our contemplative experience.
The cost for the retreat, which includes meals, is $160.00 for a
semi-private room or $250.00 for a private room. The limit is 25 participants,
and spaces fill quickly.
